How we’re going to communicate with you

We are communicators!  We look forward to communicating with you about the progress and work of MIDDLE EAST SOJOURN SUPPORT.

Please sign up for our regular email update on the home page of this website and look for our email updates.

We also plan to conduct “month in review” meetings via “Zoom” or “Google meet.”  These meetings will have no agenda other than to talk with those who are partnering with us, and perhaps letting you see a bit of our routine lives. We certainly would not expect partners to attend every month, but we want to be available on a monthly basis for those who may enjoy a chance to connect live and hear an update rather than reading an email or text.

We may ask you for your mobile phone number. We plan to communicate by text message. We understand that a one-sentence text may be a more effective way to communicate with you than an email newsletter. We are currently reviewing/comparing SlickText and SimpleTexting and when we have decided on a mass texting service, we’ll let you know.

Once MIDDLE EAST SOJOURN SUPPORT is at full financial funding, we plan to have an “annual meeting” in the Autumn of each year.  This will be an opportunity for MIDDLE EAST SOJOURN SUPPORT partners to come to Louisville, and attend a meeting in-person to hear an update on our work, and of course, ask questions and learn about the Middle East.  This might be a two day meeting initially, with various speakers/sessions/presentations/activities.  In the long-term, we would like for this annual meeting to become a regular “clearing house” for Middle East work.
