How we’re going to get there 

In order to get where we’re going, we need PARTNERS.  We ask you to partner with us!  

When Brennen and Abla were living in Jerusalem, they realized that in order to be a blessing to all peoples of the Middle East for the long term, they would need the ongoing support of many partners!  The two main categories of support are: prayer/moral support, and financial support.  We welcome your partnership in either or both of these categories!

Up until now, both Brennen and Abla have relied on a mixture of secular employment, church employment, and individual donor support for the financial sustainability of their ministries.  Brennen has worked several secular and ministry jobs since first moving to the Middle East in 2005.  During and after her seminary studies, Abla was employed by both church and parachurch ministries.  Since moving to the USA in 2017, Brennen’s job in Louisville (CM) has been a financial blessing.  (*see “Where we’ve been: timeline”) This “hybrid/tentmaker” model worked well during the years gone by, but going forward, in order to accomplish the goals of MIDDLE EAST SOJOURN SUPPORT, Brennen and Abla are raising full-time financial support.  This will allow both Brennen and Abla to devote themselves full-time to supporting those called to minister in the Middle East.

Raising financial support for the livelihood of a family of 5, plus funding for programmatic activities, is a big task!
